Living the DV2 means Living the Dolce Vita (Sweet or good Life in English) 2.0 or new and improved.

The expression of La Dolce Vita was used extensively by the Italians, after WWII. There was a large disparity between the rich and influential and everyone else. The media glamorized their self-indulging lifestyle and so the people wanted to be like those they read about in the news paper, magazine and television. Unfortunately, they could only dream. Opportunity to travel to exotic places, eat fine foods, buy fine clothes or even enjoying the simplest of luxuries was a dream for most. Owning a home, a car or even a television WAS a luxury for most at that time. So, alas, La Douce Vita, was the life they wanted and those living it was revered.
Now zoom decades later to our time. most of the simple things that were luxuries back then are easily available to most today. But still little has changed in the sense that few really live the Douce Vita. To travel or live in another country, experience different cultures, eat fine cuisine,seeing and experiencing the beauty and wonders of our world and living that lifestyle seems limited to a select few. But the opportunity to live a sweet or good is available to almost anyone who really wants it. It's not about self-indulgence anymore but simple enjoyment. You really don't have to be rich today to Live the DV2. The good life means different things to different people.
The movement is about living the dream. We are living the dream and we will share our experiences and knowledge with you.
